1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!

2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!

5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!

6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!

7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!

8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!

9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!

You know I can "argue" about these statements, and how they're misleading.

I won't, because it won't go anywhere good.

This is my favorite one. It's funny.

Well, I guess I can't really argue with that one, given that the list is from the opposite point of view.

Sort of like Milton's Paradise Lost (aren't you supposed to underline book titles? I guess this ain't elementary school, anymore. Oh well)

Anyway, Satan is written to be a sympathetic character, just like what this is supposed to be about... if that makes sense.

Like he was cast down, and now he's doing the best he can, and is a more or less heroic character.

I don't really see him that way... and if you talk with some of the more recently liberal Religious people (I think our Nun at the Roman Catholic Church here local thinks this way) they will tell you that Satan doesn't exist.

Well, nuts to that, I say.

But then again, I'm having trouble at the moment with the whole enterprise, so I need to shutup now :)
