Teen charged with having illegal knife at school

KINGSBURY -- A 16-year-old student at Southern Adirondack Vocational Center was arrested Wednesday on a charge he brought an illegal knife to school, police said.

The teen, whose name was not released, was charged with the misdemeanor of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after the illegal "gravity" knife was found in his possession at the Dix Avenue school, Washington County Sheriff Roger Leclaire said.

The blade on a gravity knife is extended solely through the force of gravity or centrifugal force.

The student, who is from Queensbury, did not threaten anyone with the knife or display it. School officials were alerted when someone learned he had it, Leclaire said.

He was released to a parent pending prosecution. Sheriff's Deputy Michael McWhorter made the arrest.

I think we have a future company in the works.

s0lid gr0und, Inc.

We can have a construction division, a dog training division, a medical training division, medical transcription division, you name it. I think we need to look more into this.

The dog training division would have to be on hiatus, we haven't seen Bob in weeks.

It would be possible by the way.

What would?

Creating a local company that had it's hands in different areas and could help sell one service of the company while doing another service. A CPR class at a MD office could assist getting that MD office to do it's transcription business and in return of the transcription business they would get a discount on the CPR training. You can tie it all together.
