If it was you paying late, you'de get like 50 penalties,and interest accruing from last fucking year.


If you filed your taxes early this year, you may be wondering why you haven't gotten your New York State tax refund.

According to the New York Post, the state is withholding refunds for more than a million New Yorkers
State officials said they can only give out so much money before the April 1 budget deadline, and they've already reached that point.

So if you filed early and haven't gotten your money, just wait, you will get it eventually.

yeah i know...i did mine early cause my dad was like if u do the e-filing you'll get it back quicker....and do i have it yet....NOPE

NY has the highest taxes in the US. It kind of sucks ass. But that is life-work, pay taxes then ya die.

Where did NY get the highest taxes in the US?It depends on what the meaning of the word "it" is. And.

Its the magic bracket..my kid sister makes like 23k and gets a refund from the fucks every year. I need a job off the books. :hmm:

I filed my taxes (fed) in February... got my refund back 2 weeks later. (I got back $700) I don't know why, because I don't have any kids... but whatever, I'll take it.

My state I filed in late Feb. and have yet to get them back. (that was only like $55 so I don't care.)

so let me try to understand this logic :

overtaxed some 2,900,000 people in the state that have filed early for their refunds, but now can't afford to pay half them back?

I'm sure most are saying : "I want interest on that money"

Good luck passing a budget on time for the first time .. in what? 20 years?

NY looks more meek by the second. Nothing like high income, sales, and property taxes to go along with outdated and unmaintained local infrastructure, shitty school districts, and general budgetary and fiscal ineptitude

i agree i wish they would pass a damn budget on time for once in their life. But i don't think it will ever happen since we have a republican governor and a majority democratic legislature. But oh well...that's politics
