WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE IS PROFANE AND RACIAL

Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.

Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. It appears two guys, both African-American, were in the cheap seats playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it.

The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass."

Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!"

The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger."

One of the men who was the object of Richard's tirade was outraged, shouting back "That''s un-f***ing called for, ain't necessary."

After the three minute tirade, it appears the majority of the audience members got up and left in disgust.

Attempts to reach Richard's reps were unsuccessful.

I just watched this on YouTube a little while ago.

WOW!!

I do not care what he say's after the fact, but that was true dislike comming form him. When people get enraged like that usually what is burried deep inside someone comes out and it did for Kramer. Heckling is all part of stand up comedy. I don't think he is good enough at improve comedy to have turned that situation into a positive. Very few white comics have been able to deal with race and the use of the 'nigger'. George Carlin did a great bit on that topic. He started off with talking about how words are just that, words. By them self words and no meaning or hatred or emotion. It isn't until the person using those words put's the emotion or hatred or meaning into them that there is a problem. One of my favorite comic bit's is Chris Rock and his feeling's about using the 'n' word.
I think Kramer hurt his career, or whatever was left of it, by this outburst. It will be a while before sponsor's will want to touch him. The common person in the long run does not give a shit about this situation. But the sponsor's who buy the ad time on the TV shows and movies will not want to be associated with him for a while. But like Mel Gibson earlier this year, things will move on and someone else will make an asshole out of themselves and we will forget about the Kramer Rant.

Yeah, it was a little over the top, even for me. I didn't know what to sy after it was over. I mean I've been known to say the word from time to time, but nothing like that.

About 1/2 way through it my jaw was on the floor and all I was doing was making funny little sounds.

The guy was correct in his statement about him being washed up. He was a bad actor in B movies before Seinfeld and could not be taken as a serious character afterwards.
