Another female teacher arrested for underage sex w/ male student

DENVER -- A married high school social studies teacher was arrested Wednesday, accused of having a sexual relationship with her underage male student.

Nicole Andrea Barnhart, 35, faces charges of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, and for pattern of abuse.

Detectives did not identify Barnhart's alleged victim, only to say that he is younger than 18 years old and is a currently a student at Denver's Ponderosa High School.

The investigation, which is still ongoing, revealed that Barnhart had sexual relations with the victim on more than one occasion in Parker, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.

Even beginning teachers know that this isn't acceptable conduct. It's child abuse, pure and simple, and she should have been arrested for it AND lost her teaching license forever!

I don’t know what would I call her and actually reading some articles about a teacher who had banned for a certain reasons made me to untrust them for at the start they have the role to nurture our children with the best that they can do but at the end they are the one who make us feel sick for the damage they have done to our kids.

Nowadays, there are lost of cases which is similar with this. As it was said, three educators discovered themselves without work last week in the United Kingdom and Australia. They were all banned from their picked occupation. The bans were each enforced for several factors.
