Some local school just had a bomb threat... over heard my boss talk about having to go home cause their kid was let out of school. Anyone else heard anything about it? Didn't get a chance to find out what school.

Colonie Central High School Closes Early

(Colonie - CBS 6) — Rumors spread quickly among students Monday morning as officials put Colonie Central High School into a lockdown. The lockdown became a school closing by 11:30am. Colonie Police Chief Steve Heider tells CBS 6 News a suspicious package was found inside the school. More later on CBS 6 News.

It was only a smoke bomb. They're saying that this act falls under the Patriot act that deals with terrorism and whoever did it faces federal charges on top of the state and local charges.
