Osbournes Hit by Fresh Cancer Scare
Rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne and her oldest daughter Aimee were forced to pull out of the London production of "The Vagina Monologues" because the aspiring singer discovered a lump in her breast.
Sharon jetted her 21-year-old daughter back to Los Angeles where she has undergone surgery and tests to determine whether she has breast cancer - but the Osbourne family is still enduring an agonizing wait for the results.
Sharon says, "Aimee's had a breast cancer scare. She found a lump in her breast which she's had removed. The operation went very well on the whole - but there have been a few minor complications and she will be having more treatment and lots of rest over the next few weeks."
"We're sure she'll make a complete recovery. Health really is the most important thing in life. After the 12 months we've had - no one realizes that more than me."
Aimee and Sharon were due to begin performing in the hugely successful play on Monday, but producers were forced to find last minute replacements.
Sharon has already won her own battle against cancer - she was diagnosed with colon cancer two years ago.
