Thanks for the help. Sounds like the test is similar to a civil service type exam.

Mo money more problems.
What's nice about there, more than anything, is that you can get your whole entire family insured for like $25 a week. That is worth its weight in gold.

Of course you don't need a shitload, but when you get in, it'll be good in that respect.

wow, it sure is, nice!Know what's funny? You're the only one that will appreciate this. I mentioned on EDG how much I made and how cheap the insurance was and Pat mentioned how meager the salary was and how he could triple it if only I worked for him. It was very amusing.

It is going to be at the DOL in Ballston Spa. I have a friend who works there so I will probably stop there this week and talk with her also.
I was hoping they would tell you in the letter how you scored on the test.

It'll be with one of our HR representatives and he'll ask you questions like why you think you'd be a good fit, how hard of a worker you are, etc. Just mention that you and I talked about what I do here and it seems like a good fit for you. You pay very close attention to detail (which you really need to do when you're here), you follow directions to the smallest detail (which you also need to be really good at), you don't mind doing shift work (it helps if you mention you've done it before and you like it, even if you don't like it. There's no way around you working shift work.), and stress that because you're coming out of being a paramedic that you feel you'd be a good fit for our Brigade. I think they'll eat that up.
They don't mention how well you do on this test. It's more of a pass/fail thing.

I really thought that the math portion sunk me. It goes to show that 'C' is always a good option.

The next test won't be so loosely graded. It's a decent amount of math, but nothing terribly difficult.
