I saw this on a different board and figured we could try it here and see how it works. The rules are simple. We will start with a nomination round. After the nomination round is completed each nomination will get a random seeding and pairing for the voting rounds. It will be set up like the NCAA Tourney.

Everyone on the board can nominate anything they want except political, religious, or historical persons. The crazier and more out there the better. If you want to nominate a jar of strawberry jam go for it, if you want to nominate China's unusually large clit be my guest. You can nominate up to 4 things. A full bracket will be 64 nominations. Let the nominating begin.

I'm afraid I don't understand the concept. I understand trying to come up with four crazy things, I can probably out crazy everybody here, I just don't get WHY.

The goal is to see what wins in the end. There really is no point other than something to get the board members active and maybe get some new posters out of their lurker stage.

Once there are 64 nominations the 1st round of voting will begin. After the 1st round of voting is complete we will then have 32 left and the 2nd round will begin. The 3rd round will have the 16 winners from round 2. The 4th round will have the 8 winners from round 3. The 5th round will be the final 4. The 6th round will be the championship round.
