The Black Artists Association is chiding FLOTUS for not choosing any African-American designers.

FLOTUS's inaugural outfits sent designers to their drafting tables to design knockoffs and droves went to J.Crew to get those snazzy leather green gloves. But not everyone is happy with her choices. The Black Artists Association is chiding FLOTUS for not choosing any African-American designers.

They will send a letter to FLOTUS's office and appeal to her to include items from black designers in her wardrobe. BAA Cofounder Amnau Eele, who was a former runway model told Women's Wear Daily:

"It's fine and good if you want to be all 'Kumbaya' and 'We Are the World' by representing all different countries. But if you are going to have Isabel Toledo do the inauguration dress, and Jason Wu do the evening gown, why not have Kevan Hall, B Michael, Stephen Burrows or any of the other black designers do something too?"

Wu didn't find out Michelle O. was wearing his dress until he saw her on television Tuesday night. And aides said FLOTUS didn't even decide until hours before her big night.

Maybe it is because they felt that the black designers clothes sucked.

Imagine the fallout if she wore clothing by only black designers and someone DARED ask why she didn't wear any clothes by any white designers.

I fucking hate liberals.

"Uh, yeah...Michelle? We need you to pick your inaugural outfit from this picture."

It is rediculas and I am a pretty liberal person. Her outfits should be what she finds enjoyable to wear. I also do not feel that taxpayers should be footing the bill for anyone's wardrobe. Let them claim it on their taxes if it is job related and the last I knew being the First Lady is not a paying job.

I doubt they're paid for anyway.

No, the Republican party did.

Plus, she didn't get to keep them.

Shelley and Bomber had better get used to it. They will be under the microscope and questioned on everything they do......or don't do. Welcome to the fast lane.

Watched "W" last night at Proctor's. What a lopsided indictment of Bush that clusterfuck of a movie was......everything from him supposedly eating like a slob to being a dumbshit. So, Obamas get used to the criticism.

That's the thing; they won't be under the same microscope because of the political party they belong to. Anyone who dares to say anything against them will be condemned as a racist and as anti-progress.

I'm not sure of that yet, Stack. Bomber's new press secy seems to be fielding some tough questions at the daily briefings, not softballs. Even old Helen Thomas was back in there grumbling at the poor bastard.
