SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A 30-year-old teaching intern was arrested and accused of having sex with a 16-year-old male student after police found the two parked behind a school with the windows of the car steamed up.
The intern's toddler was strapped into a car seat in the back when police discovered the two Saturday.

Margaret De Barraicua and the student are believed to have been having "an ongoing consensual sexual relationship for several months," Sacramento police spokesman Sgt. Justin Risley said.

The teenager was in a language and arts class that De Barraicua has taught since September, when she started her paid internship at McClatchy High School.

De Barraicua, who is married, was placed on paid administrative leave Tuesday while the investigation is ongoing, said Maria Lopez, a spokeswoman for the Sacramento City Unified School District. The toddler was released to De Barraicua's husband.

De Barraicua did not return a telephone call to her home Wednesday.

She is one of several female teachers across the nation accused of having illegal sexual relationships with male students.

Earlier this month, a 27-year-old physical education teacher in Tennessee was charged with 28 felony counts for her alleged sexual relationship with a 13-year-old. The teacher, Pamela Turner, pleaded not guilty Wednesday.

In the most well-known case, Seattle teacher Mary Kay Letourneau was 34 and a married mother of four when she began a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old student.

Now 43, Letourneau served 7 1/2 years in prison after being convicted of rape stemming from her relationship with Vili Fualaau, now 22. The couple have two children together and recently decided to get married.

mine, also. she was the english teacher, assistant cheerleading coach. students used to stay at her house all the time. she eventually got fired. ha.

I'm sure her license will be pulled, also. I think no jailtime and revocation of her license is a huge penalty alone.

Whether he was 16 or 13 he was still a student/child. There is no papers stating 16 is legal. And Mary-K did a 13 year old.

California Age Of Consent is 18 and this would pretty well put this male 2 years under that mark

However .. 5 years is a bit lenient as opposed to males who do this sort of action and receive 20 years .. up to 100 years

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Reuters) - A California high school teacher was arraigned on Monday at a Sacramento court accused of having sex with a student in a car as her two-year child was strapped into the back seat.
Margaret De Barraicua, 30, a teacher trainee, was charged with four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, a 16-year-old student. The married woman was caught having sex in the late afternoon last week in what was apparently a consensual agreement, officials said.

"We received a call about a suspicious parked vehicle at a school here in Sacramento," said local police spokesman Justin Risley. "They got there and observed two people, windows-steamed-up type of thing."

"They found them to be partially clothed and engaging in what appeared to be sexual intercourse."

I don't know what to even say about this story. Banging your teacher is one thing, especially if she's hot. But not in front of a 2-year-old. I can't find a picture of this chick, either.
