Stillwater man accused of assaulting baby

A 20-year-old Stillwater man is accused of breaking a baby's arm and ribs.

Police say Raymond Ward's girlfriend left him alone with her 5-week-old infant. While the two were alone, police say Ward squeezed the baby and broke six ribs. They say he also bent the baby's arm back until it broke in two places.

Ward is charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He's in the Saratoga County Jail on $10,000
