Elementary teacher found guilty on 20 sex abuse counts

PORTLAND, Ore. - An elementary school teacher has been found guilty of encouraging child sex abuse.

Gregg Ritchie was convicted on 20 counts on Tuesday.

He was arrested last fall after investigators discovered several pornographic photographs of children on his computer.

He had been a music teacher at Oak Grove Elementary School for four years.

Police say there is no evidence Ritchie physically abused any children.

He will be sentenced in six weeks.

O.K. who is a kid to trust and go to for help anymore. The teachers, cops, coaches, scout leaders, priests, neighbor, and store owner are all crooks or drug/ sex addicts. Whats the world coming too? I thought employees work computers where better monitored anyhow. Altho what do I know...
