Police Say Mom Left Boy There Because She Was Upset

FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- A 4-year-old has been turned over to child welfare officials after he was found wandering along a busy highway outside Washington, D.C.

A motorist called police Tuesday night after finding the boy along the Beltway in Falls Church, Va.

Virginia State Police determined he was left there by his mother after she became upset with him. They said the Newport News, Va., woman has been charged with child neglect.

The boy was treated at a hospital for cuts and bruises. He was turned over to Fairfax County Child Protective Services. Authorities said the mother is also facing a hit-and-run charge in connection with an accident north of Richmond Tuesday night.

I am at a lost here. How can any parent be so mad at there child that they would leave them in the middle of a highway to fend for themselves. It just shows to me once again that some people should not be parents at all.

Wow.

That's pretty disturbing.

Alot of parents go tell there children to play in traffic when there being annoying, but to put your child in traffic and LEAVE is so not cool. I'm sure he won't be returned back to his mother. Bitch needs to spend some time getting butt fucked in jail. :yeahthat:
