Accident claims the life of Selkirk man

A Selkirk man died in an early-morning collision between two tractor-trailers at Routes 20 and 22 in New Lebanon.

Investigators said one truck slid on the snow and slammed into the other one. When police arrived on the scene, John Caswell, 45, was trapped under one of the trucks. Police believe he was killed instantly.

The other driver, Donald Murray, 37, of Massachusetts, was treated for some cuts and bruises.
