It is a venue in Albany that holds concerts and plays and just about anything that uses a stage. The building is shaped like an egg.

Wow! The good ole days with the albino Winter brothers. At least I know Johnny is still alive. Leon Russell was cool too.

I agree Venus....Saw the winters brothers at an outdoor concert where several bands played when I was a teen. I went to see Leon Russell at a club in Grand Rapids, MI 2 years ago. He put on a great show, but his age is definitely showing. His daughter sang too, Tina Rose. I just think it was so cool to be able to actually see him after all these years. I listened to him when I was 17 years old.... The man has soul.

The Egg
Thanks for the picture...very strange design to say the least. It doesn't look like an egg to me. Has anyone ever been there? Bet the inside is cool.

I've never been to a concert at the Egg (even though I could throw a rock and hit it from my desk).

I was there for a graduation a long time ago and saw some guy skier. He did all these tricks and shit on a special made treadmill while he was on his ski's.
I was there for a college fair while in high school. Other than that, I've never stepped foot in the place.

It is probably the coolest looking building in Albany though.
I would have to agree. Pretty amazing architecture.

I have seen Godsmack 3 times so far and they do a pretty good job. I want to go to this show but I don't know if I can get the night off from work. There are only a couple of tickets left.

The worst of the 3 shows I saw was when the opened of Metallica and that was because they were limited on their set length to about 60 minutes. They went over a little bit. I had a friend who was working EMS back stage and the organizers were getting pissed that they kept playing and cutting into Metallica's set time. Metallica sucked balls by the way. They are nothing like they used to be.

I have seen Metallica 3 times and this last show was the worst. As soon as they got the crowd all into with their good old heavy metal they would then play one of their newer shit songs and take the crown out of it. When I saw them in 96' they opened the show with 'So What'. They played it as they walked out from the dressing rooms with all the house lights up. It was a great way to start the show. I really started hatin them after Jason keft the band. Even though he was not an original member, he was the heart of the band.
